Description
A ação tem como objetivo implantar e melhorar serviços de drenagem e manejo ambiental visando à prevenção e controle de doenças e agravos em municípios localizados em áreas endêmicas.
A iniciativa contempla intervenções que visam contribuir para minimização da proliferação de vetores. Ou seja, obras de engenharia e/ou manejo ambiental que inviabilizem as condições biológicas favoráveis ao desenvolvimento destes.

The public call for proposal is aimed at municipal governments, with focus on actions that are aligned with the provisions of the National Basic Sanitation Policy.

For the municipality to present a proposal, the following needs to be covered:
- Descriptive memorandum;
- Calculation memory;
- Blueprints;
- Budget spreadsheet;
- Physical-financial schedule;
- Technical standards;
- Technical Responsibility Notes
- Possession of area;
- Environmental licensing;
- Approval of the Municipal or State Council; and
- Annexes.
The resources allocated are monitored by the foundation's administration through the SIGA system (FUNASA management system).
Funasa has budget lines to subsidize works for rainwater depletion, plumbing, rectification, cleaning and other interventions to improve water flow, using appropriate technologies.
