This document covers the first year of implementation of the Trilateral South-South Cooperation project, entitled “Improvement of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services in Angola, Municipality of Viana”. This project is based on cooperation between Angola and Brazil and promotes the sharing of experiences on Simplified Sanitation and Integrated Solid Waste Management (GIRS) technology.
This is the second article in a series that aims to discuss and bring lessons learned from the cooperation process between the India, Brazil, South Africa Fund (IBSA), the Government of Angola and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), also in collaboration with the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC).
